OUR MASTER BLENDERS

CRAFTED BY EXPERTS. PERFECTED FOR EVERYDAY BRITAIN.

At Change Brew Co., every blend begins with experience, generations of knowledge, thousands of tastings, and a shared belief that getting the balance just right makes all the difference.

Our teas and coffees are crafted by experts who’ve spent their lives mastering flavour, consistency, and character. Together, Mike, Razi, and Andy bring decades of expertise from bush to cup and bean to brew, blending heritage with innovation to create drinks that are strong, smooth, and honest.

RAZI KHAN
OUR BUSH TO CUP VISIONARY

From the tea plantations of Darjeeling and Assam to leading roles at Typhoo UK and Stratton Tea, Razi has spent over two decades shaping the world of tea from the ground up. His expertise spans every part of the journey, growing, sourcing, blending, and improving sustainability across the supply chain. Razi’s mission is simple: to make tea that respects both the people who grow it and those who drink it.

“Good tea starts long before it reaches your cup, it begins with respect for the land, the leaf, and the people behind it.”

ANDY GRELAK
OUR BEAN TO BREW EXPERT

With over three decades in coffee, Andy has helped shape the taste of some of Britain’s best-loved blends. From sourcing beans across Indonesia and Uganda to perfecting smooth chicory coffee for modern drinkers, his experience runs from boardroom to brew room.

Andy’s approach blends tradition with innovation, crafting coffee that’s rich, balanced, and unmistakably easy to enjoy. His mission is to make every cup of Change Coffee as rewarding as it is reliable.

“Every great coffee starts with care; from the bean to the brew, it’s about balance, patience, and getting it just right.”

MIKE ROGERS
OUR EVERYDAY BLEND SPECIALIST

Mike’s journey began at Typhoo Tea, following in the footsteps of his parents who also spent their careers there. Starting in packaging and quickly moving into buying and blending, Mike has shaped the taste of Britain’s favourite brews for retailers like Morrisons, Asda, and One Cup.

With more than 25 years of tasting experience and often sampling over 500 cups a day, Mike ensures every batch of Change Tea delivers the perfect balance of strength, consistency, and smoothness. His personal favourite? A classic Rwanda and Assam second flush blend that hits the mark every time.

“A proper cup of tea comes down to balance, the right leaf, the right strength, every time.”

Why ‘Better’ Doesn’t Have to Mean Fancy: A Guide to Everyday Brews That Work

Somewhere along the way, “better” started to mean complicated. But when it comes to everyday tea, better doesn’t have to mean fancy. Sometimes, better simply means this: it works. It works first thing in the morning, with a biscuit at 3pm, or in those quiet five-minute pauses in between.

Strong Tea, Strong Start: The Bold Truth About Indian Blends

There’s strong… and then there’s properly strong. A bold cup of tea isn’t about bitterness. It’s about depth, colour, and that full-bodied flavour that stands up to milk. Indian black teas, especially Assam, have long defined the British standard. Strong, reliable, and made to deliver. But real strength is about balance. Bold, but smooth. Full of character, yet easy to drink. Because a proper brew doesn’t need to shout. It just needs to work.
